Changing of the Guard

Written by Crackmasters at 19:08 2/1-2013

When Unos formed the now 10 season old Crackmasters pro cycling team he invisioned a team of strong climbers that would shoot to the top with ease. He promised his sponsors big wins and results. After ten seasons as a pro team the team has changed dramtically. The first phase was based on strictly climbing however, with the team struggling to make ends meet changes had to be made.

Unos then made the hard decision to get rid of his strong team of climbers and focus on the sprint stages. The team was able to see some success and we were able to build once again. However the sponsors were begining to get restless once again with the lack luster results and only lower division success after several seasons. Once again major changes where on the horizon.

Unos had to go into his mind lab and develop a new strategy with his job on the line. The result of this is the new and improved Crackmaster TT. Unos sought out some of the most experienced TT specialist that money could buy. Selling the new TT based team to the sponsors wasn't easy but eventually they began to believe. From the debts of all of the divisions Unos and his TT specialists began to climb to where they stand today. Ranked third in national rank and in the second division.

With aging riders and tougher competition only time will tell where Unos and the Crackmasters will go from here so stay tuned.....
